The Adamello-Brenta Natural Park

The Adamello Brenta Natural Park (620.51 sq km) is the largest protected area in Trentino. Established in 1967, it extends into western Trentino and includes the Adamello and Brenta mountain ranges .
The environment of the Park is typical of the central-southern Alps, characterized by mainly coniferous forests that cover the slopes of the mountains up to 1800 m above sea level. Above this altitude, the forests, which occupy a third of the Park's surface, give way to alpine meadows and rock vegetation that reaches over 2500 m.
In 2008 the Adamello Brenta Geopark   became part of the European and World Network of Geoparks under the aegis of UNESCO.

Lake Garda and the other lakes

The northern tip of Lake Garda, where mountains, valleys and deep waters meet, is Trentino.
The Trentino part of the lake is considered one of the most beautiful and evocative areas of Garda: here, like nowhere else, the Mediterranean climate blends with the alpine environment. In fact, in this area you will find high mountains (over 2,000 meters above sea level), but by the lake you can observe olive and lemon trees in bloom. The Trentino part of Lake Garda is very popular with cyclists, hikers and windsurfers.

When one thinks of Trentino, one associates thinking with the mountains. But less than twenty minutes by car from Bolbeno there is also the Valle dei Laghi, which offers tourists and non-tourists alike a spectacle of nature to visit: 7 lakes, each with its own peculiarity and 4 of which are suitable for swimming. -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
The most famous in the area and also the most romantic for the fairytale scenarios that it manages to recreate is the Lago di Toblino .
